Enhanced Management of Lodgepole Pine

In 2002, a report by the Alberta Research Council identified major gaps in the knowledge required to enhance lodgepole pine growth and yield through nutrition and density management. In 2003, FGYA successfully submitted a project proposal for addressing these gaps to the Open Funds Initiative of the Forest Resource Improvement Association of Alberta. Work on this project commenced in 2004.
