Snow is melting in the mountains and it’s getting close to caribou calving so the fRI Caribou Program's aerial based fecal surveys have wrapped up for the season.
The Caribou Patrol is continuing to collect pellets from caribou migrating south of Grande Cache.
We’re going to have a big field season this year with crews based out of Hinton, the Grande Cache area and west of Manning.
Crews start on the 19th of May so we’re busy getting everything ready for their arrival.
