fRI’s 20th anniversary celebration took place Oct. 1–4 in Hinton, Alberta, at the Hinton Training Centre, and it was a great success. The four-day event included an open house, field tour, and annual general meeting followed by a banquet, as well as a meeting of the Board of Directors. It was an opportunity for attendees, including partner representatives and members of the general public, to get a first-hand look at past and present research and to see how programs have evolved over the last two decades.
