Bio/Research Interests
Growing up with a family that spent most of their time outdoors, Sarah developed a love for the natural world and a passion to protect it. She was first employed by the fRI Grizzly Bear Program in 2010 as a summer research assistant and went on to complete a BSc and MSc in Conservation Biology at the University of Alberta. Her MSc project was in collaboration with fRI Research and focused on identifying factors that affect the detection of grizzly bears at permanent hair traps as well as the factors affecting their eastern range in Alberta. When she’s not working, Sarah wishes to be travelling.
