Fish and Wildlife Seeking Information Related to the Killing of a Grizzly Bear Near the Gregg River

Fish and Wildlife has given the following statement:

Fish and Wildlife Officers in Hinton are seeking information related to the killing of a mature grizzly bear near the Gregg River on Friday, November 6, 2015.  This darkly colored grizzly bear was a collared research bear with fRI Research that had been travelling along highway 40 near the north end of Teck Coals Mineral Surface Lease or mine site which is north of Cadomin, Alberta. It is unlawful to hunt grizzly bears in Alberta.

Callers can remain anonymous and could be eligible for a reward. Any information, no matter how insignificant it may seem, could help further this investigation.
