Alberta Environment and Parks has released a draft version of the 2016-2021 Alberta Grizzly Bear Recovery Plan. It focuses on lowering grizzly bear mortality by reducing human-bear conflict.
The draft plan is open for comment from all Albertans. An online survey has been set up to gather input, which may be used to revise the plan.
The fRI Research Grizzly Bear Program provides knowledge and planning tools to ensure the long-term conservation of grizzly bears in Alberta.
