The fRI Grizzly Bear Program is pleased to announce that Dr. Karine Pigeon successfully completed her PhD research thesis entitled “Behavioural plasticity of the grizzly bear in a context of climate change” at Laval University on April 17, 2015.
Karine has worked on the topic of denning in grizzly bears within our project for the past 7 years and has made a tremendous contribution to our understanding of grizzly bear denning ecology.
