Recap: Coldwater Fish Species of Special Concern Workshop

On 10 December 2015, Axel Anderson, Water Program Lead, hosted the Coldwater Fish Species of Special Concern Workshop. 75 stakeholders came out to share their knowledge and identify needed future research.

Experts from Alberta Environment and Parks, Department of Fisheries and Oceans, the University of Alberta Department of Renewable Resources, the Foothills Stream Crossing Partnership and Trout Unlimited Canada presented on fisheries management.

    I talked to George Sterling a few years ago about the Athabasca Rainbow and I mentioned to him another creek where I have seen and caught many. The creek is on Whitecourt Mountain and is called Hardluck creek
