fRI congratulates Terry Larsen on successfully defending his thesis and earning his Masters in Science in the Department of Biological Sciences at the University of Alberta. The title of Terry’s thesis is “The potential influence of mountain pine beetle (Dendroctonus ponderosae) control harvesting on grizzly bear (Ursus arctos) food supply and habitat conditions in Alberta”
Terry began working for the fRI Grizzly Bear Program in the spring of 2001 as a field technician and is now a full time biologist with the program.
