Habitat Suitability Index Program

The Habitat Suitability Index (HSI) models predict the suitability of habitat for a species based on an assessment of habitat attributes such as habitat structure, habitat type and spatial arrangements between habitat features. These HSI models were created between 1999 and 2001 and apply to habitats in fRI Research core landbase in west-central Alberta.
