Arctic grayling populations have declined by 70% since the 1960s, leading to a ban on harvesting, and the loss of a treaty right for the Swan River First Nation. fRI Research and the University of Calgary, through a Master’s project by Kate Marouelli, are supporting the community in their work to recover grayling populations in the Swan River watershed.

This poster, presented at ArcticNet’s 21st Annual Scientific Meeting in Calgary, highlights progress and objectives to date.
