Mountain pine beetle infestations can impact forest values including habitat for nationally threatened caribou and provincially threatened grizzly bear. A join project with the Caribou, Grizzly Bear, and Mountain Pine Beetle Ecology Programs is determining what the response of those threatened species is likely to be.
