At the Foothills Research Institute‘s Caribou Workshop in January of 2012, Byron Weckworth of the University of Calgary presented his research in the field of caribou genetics. By analyzing a large number of samples from across the country, the research re-examines the patterns of relationships between herds and ecotypes.
